Mayo Clinic selects Summit Health as their preferred partner to provide worksite biometric screenings, immunizations, and on-site educational seminars for their clients. Mayo Clinic is the first and largest integrated, not-for-profit group practice in the world. Doctors from every medical specialty work together to care for patients, joined by common systems and a philosophy of "the needs of the patient come first." More than 3,700 physicians, scientists and researchers, and 50,100 allied health staff work at Mayo Clinic, which has campuses in Rochester, Minn; Jacksonville, Fla; and Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.; and community-based providers in more than 70 locations in southern Minnesota., western Wisconsin and northeast Iowa. These locations treat more than half a million people each year. “It is an honor to be selected by such a world-class healthcare organization. Kroger selects Summit Health to provide worksite biometric screenings for their employees. Kroger, one of the nation’s largest retail grocery chains, employs more than 320,000 associates who serve customers in 2,477 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states. Kroger operates stores under two dozen local banner names including Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, Fry’s, King Soopers, Smith’s, Dillons, QFC and City Market. In addition, our associates serve customers in the 778 convenience stores, 392 fine jewelry stores and 750 supermarket fuel centers that the Company operates. Kroger also operates 41 food processing plants in the United States. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kroger focuses its charitable efforts on supporting hunger relief, health and wellness initiatives, and local schools and grassroots organizations in the communities it serves. “With our deep coverage in all 50 states and experience providing wellness and flu shot programs to numerous nationwide retail chains, Summit Health is a great partner for Kroger. GE Capital selects Summit Health to provide worksite biometric screenings, immunizations and on-site health education seminars for their employees. GE Capital is one of the world’s largest providers of credit supporting over 1 million businesses and 100 million consumers. In 2009 GE capital had assets of $625 billion, $2.3 billion in net income and over 60,000 employees.

“After an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, GE Capital selected Summit Health as their wellness partner. BlueCross BlueShield of Nebraska selects Summit Health to provide worksite biometric screenings, immunizations, and on-site health education for their clients. BlueCross Blue Shield of Nebraska has a 70-year tradition of administering group plans, and is recognized as a leading provider and administrator for employee benefit plans.

U.S. Preventative Medicine, Inc. (USPM)

USPM renews agreement with Summit Health For over three years Summit Health and U.S. Preventative Medicine, Inc. (USPM) have partnered to advance disease prevention. Recently USPM chose to renew their contract with Summit Health to provide worksite screening programs. A worksite screening is the foundation for USPM's integrated continuum of prevention programs. Summit Health's biometric screening programs identify each individual's top risks and integrates with USPM's Prevention Programs that improve and sustain health before disease develops or progresses. "Our partnerships and ability to integrate with USPM give employers the seamless, high-touch, and high-quality integrated health management that is so important for long-term employee engagement and return on wellness investment. Summit Health announced that the company has signed a multi-year contract for onsite wellness services with Independence Blue Cross, the largest health insurer in the Philadelphia region. Under the terms of this agreement, Summit Health will provide onsite biometric screenings, health educational programs and flu shots. “We are excited that we have this opportunity to partner with Independence Blue Cross in support of their award-winning health and wellness programs for their employer clients,” said Richard Penington, Summit Health President and CEO.

Highmark, the largest health insurer in Pennsylvania, has renewed and extended its contract with Summit Health. The renewal calls for Summit Health to continue providing onsite wellness services to Highmark’s self-insured clients. “We are happy to continue to support Highmark’s focus on helping their employer clients improve the health status of their employees,” said Doug Finch, Summit Health COO.

LabCorp selects Summit Health to provide worksite biometric screenings for their employees. An S&P 500 company, Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings has over 28,000 employees worldwide. The company has a network of 36 primary laboratories and over 1,600 patient service centers and provides clinical laboratory testing services in all 50 states, District of Columbus, Puerto Rico, Belgium and Canada. Summit Health will also be supporting the remote LabCorp employees using our proprietary home test kit. “We are thrilled to not only have LabCorp as a great vendor, but also as a customer who recognizes the value of investing in employee wellness programs,” said Richard Penington, President and CEO of Summit Health.

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Minnesota renews their partnership with Summit Health as their worksite wellness services provider. Since 2007, Summit Health has provided worksite biometric screenings, health coaching, educational wellness programs, and immunization services to BCBS of Minnesota’s employer groups.

Summit Health, a leader in worksite wellness services, announces that GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and health care companies, has selected Summit Health to provide onsite biometric screening and immunization services. GSK has a large number of remote employees that wanted to participate in the screening program. Summit Health customized its Home Test Kit to meet GSK’s needs for Lipid Profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides) and Glucose screenings, which was an important factor in GSK’s selection of Summit Health as their screening partner.

Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield chooses Summit Health as their worksite wellness service provider. Summit Health launched the program by administering on-site health screenings to Arkansas BCBS’s own employees.
